A skin-resurfacing oligopeptide derived from biofermentation

The main active component in DermalRx® SRC is an oligopeptide that enhances the skin’s normal re-texturizing activity through a safe and selective mechanism of action.
Skin peels are widely recognized to improve the appearance of thickening skin, blemish-prone skin with enlarged pores, and photodamaged skin with wrinkling and uneven pigmentation. Chemical peels using α- and β-hydroxy acids have been available for several decades, but these harsh methods are effective only at low pH, irritate the skin, and can predispose to photodamage at higher concentrations.
DermalRx® SRC, produced via fermentation using a proprietary yeast strain, addresses the need for a less damaging exfoliant. The main active component in DermalRx® SRC is an oligopeptide that enhances the skin’s normal re-texturizing activity through a safe and selective mechanism of action. DermalRx® SRC helps to gently loosen coarse, keratinized cells at the skin’s surface and stimulate renewal with younger cells. DermalRx® SRC is clinically proven to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and age spots, improving skin texture and elasticity. Participants saw a 26% reduction in skin roughness and a 43% improvement in skin brightness after four weeks of twice-daily DermalRx® SRC application. DermalRx® SRC results in smoother, more radiant, and younger-looking skin without the harshness of conventional exfoliating ingredients.
