Sales Manager - U.S. Northeast Region
(Remote-based role with home office; includes regular in-person customer visits within region and periodic travel to Biocogent headquarters in Bellport, NY.)
Biocogent is seeking a qualified and driven Sales Manager to lead business development and account management efforts. This role is critical to achieving our revenue and growth objectives through both retention of existing customers and the development of new business opportunities.

The ideal candidate will promote Biocogent’s innovative products and technologies, build strong and lasting customer relationships, and execute sales strategies that drive revenue, profitability and market expansion.

What You’ll Do

Grow revenue through strategic territory and account management for U.S. Northeast

Build strong relationships with customers and key industry leaders

Translate complex science into clear, compelling customer value

Identify new markets and expansion opportunities

Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Marketing and Operations

Commit to being accessible and responsive, connecting with customers within the sales territory through in-person and on-line contact

A Promising Candidate
-
Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field (advanced degree a plus)
-
5+ years of sales experience in personal care, specialty chemicals or related industries
-
Strong industry network with a proven record of sales success

Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
-
Experience working with digital sales tools a plus

Compensation includes a salary of $140K plus a competitive benefits package.
